Joe Felman

Joe Felman established J S Felman & Associates in 1976 after working for several years with a major ‘big 4’ accounting firm. He graduated from Melbourne University with degrees in Commerce (Accounting) and Arts (Psychology) and has Post Graduate qualifications in Business Management. Joe’s current work interests include Taxation, Self Managed Super Funds and Financial Planning.
Joe also holds a Specialist designation in Financial Planning with CPA Australia and is a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia.
Joe is a CPA and an Authorised Representative of Count Wealth Accountants AFSL No 22732.

Larry Hayman

Larry Hayman is an Australian Chartered Accountant who has been in public practice for over 20 years. He also has a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Financial Planning Specialist designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia as well as being a Count Authorised Representative.

Larry’s work interests include Taxation, Self Managed Superannuation Funds and Financial Planning. He enjoys interacting with clients, and in particular developing an understanding of a broad spectrum of client business, tax and general financial issues and then working with clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Outside of family commitments he enjoys keeping in touch with current affairs and recreational running and swimming.

Majella Webster

Majella immigrated to Australia in 1974 from Belfast where she qualified as an accountant and had seven years experience in a small accounting firm.
Following a further six years in a city practice and becoming a CPA she joined the team at JS Felman and Associates where she has provided tax & accounting advice to a wide variety of individual and business clients for more than 25 years. Majella is also experienced in MYOB Accounting packages and supports clients using this accounting package.

Majella is an avid reader, likes relaxing caravan holidays and for exercise and fun enjoys a daily early morning walk to the beach and weekly line dancing as well as Bollywood dancing classes.

Kathy Soros

Kathy joined our accounting team in 2002. She has a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and is a CPA. Kathy has extensive experience in management and cost accounting and spent five years working with Asian firms as part of a large corporation. Kathy has also has worked in business acquisitions and valuations.

Kathy can assist you with your tax, accounting (MYOB, Quickbooks), business and superannuation related issues. Kathy is more than happy to help clients with their business plans and budgets.

Kathy enjoys golf during her leisure hours.

Caren Walliser

Caren joined our accounting team in 2002. She has a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Hons) from the University of South Africa and is studying to complete her CPA Australia qualification. Caren has extensive experience in auditing and worked for a “Big 4” accounting firm and a large mining corporation in South Africa.

Caren can assist you with your tax, accounting, business and superannuation related issues. Caren is more than happy to visit clients’ premises to help solve accounting and business management queries.

On the weekend, Caren enjoys cooking, gardening and reading alongside a busy family life.

Jessica Goodchild

Jessica joined the tax team on a part time basis in 2000. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University and is CPA qualified. Jessica has experience in internal management accounting both in Australia and overseas. She is able to help you with company tax planning issues and business analysis spreadsheets. Jessica’s aim is to streamline client’s accounting and reporting matters

Rachel Lissek

Rachel completed her Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University and then worked in the banking system for a number of years in their Graduate programme. While her family was young she undertook various part time office admin and bookkeeping positions until she joined Felmans’ in 1997 on a permanent part time basis. She qualified as a Financial Planner and Authorised Representative of Count Wealth Accountants in 1999 and has since been servicing clients budgeting, investment and wealth creation needs.

Rachel enjoys reading, folk dancing and relaxing with family and friends.

Dimi Harbis

Dimi has been with the firm for 13 years and has been working in the accounting environment since 1981. Dimi’s qualifications include a Certificate 3 in Accounting. Her role includes attending to client’s company secretarial requirements and business registrations, data processing of taxation returns, bookkeeping (incl. MYOB), administration and reception.

Dimi enjoys entertaining family and friends with her home style Greek cooking.

Caroline Martin

Caroline joined JS Felman & Associates in November 1999. Caroline worked in the banking industry for over 20 years in both the branches, back office and the International Department, and then worked part-time for a temp agency assisting in a large bank’s Deceased Estates Department for over 2 years.

Her work duties include administrative and general reception duties, data processing of taxation returns as well as providing support to the 3 Financial Planners within the practice.

Caroline has been married for over 20 years and has 2 children. She enjoys participating in many forms of arts and crafts during her leisure time.

Pam Freeman

Pam joined J S Felman & Associates in 2005. Pam immigrated to Australia from South Africa 12 years ago. Pam is currently employed on a part time basis as part of the front office team. Pam will meet and greet you at reception, handle the switchboard, correspondence, input taxation returns and general administration.

Outside the office, Pam interests include Volunteer Guiding at the National Gallery of Victoria and she is an accomplished artist.
